Glenbawn Dam

Another fantast week away to Glenbawn Dam where we had Seventeen A'van, Three Pop Tops and even a Tent attended the gathering. The host's for this trip was John & Elaine Brown who organized trips to Burning Mountain, Vinery Horse Stud, open cut mine at Muswellbrook, and four wheel drives up to Barrington Tops. The other highlight for Saturday night was St Patrick's Day with our members busting to dress up and have a good time, all in all a very successful time was had by all. (photo's courtesy of Marlene)

Elvis Festival Parks

There were some very enthusiastic "Believers" who had come to the Love Me Tender Elvis Festival to have fun and join in everything. They were very happy to suit for the occasion - even if that meant white jumpsuits, capes, big hairdos and sweeping eyelashes in the heat or whatever. Our group was represented in the street parade, led by our new members Bill & Gina. The members had a such a fantastic time that they have re booked for next year. Hangi at Marlene's

Another very different gathering was organized by Marlene a Hungi at her home, and going by the photo's the Sydney-Central Coast Group really have a good time when it comes to having a party and enjoying the company of there fellow Avanners. (Photo's courtesy of Tim)

Hawks Nest Christmas Gathering 2006

Another fantastic week was had by all, our club is getting stronger with 44 van's attending, plus three cabins also booked. At the Mungo Brush State Park on Wednesday the club put on a B-B-Q lunch for the members with 150 sausages, 7 kg onions, and 12 loaves of bread, this was consumed by 62 members. On Saturday Night for the Christmas Dinner we had 92 members attending.

On the other days there was golf, and a walk to Yacaaba Head, also a trip on the ferry to Nelson Bay.

As you can see by the photo's below our club members seem to come up with spur of the moment things even a mock-up crime site in the making, and at the Christmas Party with the arrival of the young and not so young Elvis, then with Phil & Tony getting into the swing of things on the dance floor.
